Once you have set the zero position, this is saved for all other measurements. The activated QuickLock function can be identified by the lock symbol on the display and secures the set zero position if a key is accidentally pressed (key lock). The calliper gauge is always ready to measure. The LCD display is automatically activated by pressing the ON button or moving the slide. This does away with the repeated zeroing after the device is turned on, which is required for all conventional calliper gauges.
