1/70 PROMAT universal machine tap The new green ring series by PROMAT is based on a HSS-Co substrate. The series is distinguished by its optimised cutting edge geometry and surface treatment for use as a universal tool. The geometry enables the processing of easy-to-machine steels, rust-free steels, long-chipping cast materials and non-ferrous metals. To further improve the service life, PROMAT provides a vapour-treated surface as well as a titanium nitride coating (TiN). In addition, a longer runout of the grooves enables deeper blind holes up to 2.5 x diam.. In summary: A reduction in the number of different types required in manufacturing. The technical advantages: · Less wear · Reduced nicks in a range of materials · Optimised relationship between the threaded links and groove/the concentricity of the threaded part · Long service life across a wide range of tools Service life comparison: PROMAT green ring series compared to specific tools D no stock item.
