Cutting tools Countersink ULTIMATECUT The ULTIMATECUT countersink has a unique cutting geometry, as well as specially-developed variable rear grinding, enabling very quiet countersinking. Specially-developed chip space parameters such as cutting angle, transition radii, as well as the extra-wide chip flute ensure optimal chip removal and heat removal, enabling very high wear resistance. This is counteracted by the new material welding geometry, enormously reducing cutting forces. This enables time-savings of up 30 %, double as many countersinks as with standard countersinks, and an optimal smooth countersink result for nearly all materials. The 3-area shank prevents penetration of the drill chuck and ensures optimal force transmission for low required force. In addition, the RUnaTEC coating improves the quality of the coated workpiece. Advantage: Extremely wear-resistant and a large reduction in material welding. In addition to a high cutting speed, this results is an optimal, smooth surface. The technical advantages: · Significantly less feeding force required · Up to 60 % higher service lives · Up to 30 % faster lowering · Extremely quiet running · Optimum countersink shape · Ideal chip removal · Very high resistance to wear and heat hardness Through specially developed cutting geometry, variably running relief grinding, transition radii and extra-wide chip flute Conclusion: The completely new cutting geometry and the RUnaTEC coating make the ULTIMATECUT countersink an all-rounder; achieving the best performance in nearly all materials and applications.
